What are the Symptoms of Tonsil Stones?
For SEVEN years, I have dealt with these smelly, yellow-white balls that were attached to my tonsils.
Occasionally, I wouldn’t find them on my tonsils, but they would appear in my mouth and I’d cough them up as well.
The first time I spotted these HORRIBLE-SMELLING, YELLOW AND WHITE CLUMPS on my tonsils, I assumed I had tonsillitis. However, I wasn’t experiencing pain.
I had a sore throat in the morning sometimes, but it was nothing like tonsillitis.
When I went to a doctor seven years ago, they thought it was odd, but they just prescribed antibiotics and told me to keep an eye on them.
A week later, I was back at the doctor’s office. I USED ALL THE ANTIBIOTICS but the tonsilloliths were still sitting there.
Then they gave me more antibiotics, and I took those, too. I used those up as well and the tonsil stones were still sitting there.
I thought maybe it was just food I had stuck there and nothing else. I tried using my fingers to scrap it out, but couldn’t reach, so I attempted to use a cotton swab. It did nothing so I eventually tried a CHOPSTICK TO SCRAP out the tonsil stone. Don’t ever try that. The chopstick scrapped a little of the stone, but most of it remained stuck.
I asked my doctor for a referral to a NOSE AND THROAT SPECIALIST although it took me a month before I could get in to see him, since the waiting list was so long. I bet most of those people had the same issue. ..leer más detalles
